Norwegian Institute of Water Research (NIVA)
I am a senior researcher at NIVA's Section for Catchment Processes. I have research experience freshwater ecology, in particular ecological effects of environmental pressures such as eutrophication, toxicants and climate change. My projects have involved work on population ecology, ecotoxicology, biological indicators, ecological risk assessment and database management.
My role in SUSTAIN
I am NIVA's contact person in SUSTAIN, and responsible for providing data and other information for the freshwater case study (River Gudbrandsdalslågen and Lake Mjøsa). The data includes the individual capture data on the Hunder trout, and NIVA's monitoring data on physical and chemical conditions, phytoplankton and zooplankton. NIVA also contributes to the modelling and analysis of these data, primarily in WP1 and WP3.
